Deluca’s Pizzeria

Hot Springs continues to experience revitalization and celebrate new developments—like the opening of two new hotels, plans for a Civil War museum and a baseball museum, the completion of exciting renovations at Oaklawn, Mid-America Science Museum and The Hotel Hot Springs & Spa, and the addition of a burgeoning business district on Historic Park Avenue.

The new area called Uptown—it's located just few blocks north of Central Avenue—offers dining, shopping and entertainment. It’s a natural extension of the bustling downtown area, and is already gaining notoriety thanks to Deluca’s Pizzeria, Central Park Fusion and Hot Springy Dingy, a quirky costume and gift shop. Red Light Roastery, Hot Springs' first small-batch, craft coffee roaster, is settling in after opening in 2015, and more businesses are slated to join soon.

Recent attention to the district came after a fire destroyed the historic Majestic Hotel. Demolition to clear the building’s remains began in January 2016, exciting new questions about what's in store for Uptown. Community leaders are pushing for infrastructure improvements too. For example, re-paving efforts are coming in 2016 to make the district more bike and pedestrian friendly; and new events like Pop Up on Park, Taste of Park Avenue and SummerFest Uptown are already drawing the crowds. SummerFest hosts one free event each month from April to October. Each event will have a different theme and feature entertainment, crafts, vendors, food and fun for the entire family.

This is definitely a new and exciting place to experience during your stay.
